Traceability System in Halal Procurement: A Bibliometric Review

Background: The increasing Muslim population worldwide will increase the Islamic market share in future. Thus, higher demand for halal food has caused industry to pay attention quality control system ingredients used. This paper aims review previous literature regarding traceability suppliers supply chain achieve specified standards. It discusses as a method conducting research and offers an overview of different types reviews, well some guidelines both conduct evaluate review. Methods: uses sample about 200 articles from structured study period 2007–2021. We use Perish application identify journals, articles, citations, authors, keywords. Results: analysis reveals five topic clusters: traceability, chain, logistics, lifestyle. There is strong relationship between procurement traceability. Procurement related product provides transparency manufacturing, enabling customers trust claims. results show that information systems can enable transparency. Conclusions: this supplier halal-food-production which help explore issues trends. For future research, technology be used within industry, such data interchange, radio frequency identification, blockchain.
